About Me

My name is Swetha and I am a rising senior. This cause is important to me because I feel that mental health is something I hear about all the time. When I started doing more research into the Black Lives Matter movement, I saw I tie into mental health. That got me curious about how mental health is being affected. As I got more in depth into the topic, I realized that racism in general affects mental health. While I was at shock, it resonated with me that racism is and issue that has stuck with us, Americans, through our history uptil now. I want this to change for future generations.
